Thank you to TB Vets Charitable Foundation
The TB Vets Charitable Foundation has provided the UBC Respiratory Medicine with the 2017 Frontline Heroes Grant in the amount of $20,000. The award has been used to acquire the Simbionix Bronch Mentor, an advanced simulator for training physicians to perform bronchoscopy procedures.
Our respiratory trainees are involved in over 1,800 bronchoscopies per year and with the advanced simulator, they are better equipped at improving the quality of care provided to patients.
For over seventy years, TB Vets has been supporting the respiratory wellness of British Columbians. With over millions donated and decades of support in helping BC health professionals, we are grateful for TB Vets’ generosity.
